Elven Labs is made by Takahashi Corp LLC. These are the terms you use it under. Updated November 4, 2026.
A lab is a computer we run for you, always there, with benches where elves work. An elf is an AI agent working in your lab: it can use the lab's terminal, its browser and whatever you give it. Our apps and website show you your labs and let you direct them.
Elves run on Elrond, our agent, unless you switch one to another agent. If you do, that agent's provider and your account with them apply to what that elf does.
Elrond is the agent your elves run on by default. Its replies come from third-party AI models through OpenRouter. What is sent is what any coding agent needs to do its work: what you and your elves say to it, and what it reads in your lab, which can include files, terminal output and web pages. If you switch an elf to another agent, that agent's provider handles what that elf sends, under your own account with them.
Your account is tied to your email address. Keep access to it to yourself: whoever holds it can direct your labs.
Elves act on your instructions and can make mistakes. AI output can be wrong. You are responsible for what you ask them to do and for what they do in your lab, including anything they buy, send, post, change or delete, and any account you sign them in to. Check what matters before relying on it.
Don't use Elven Labs to break the law, to harm or deceive others, to attack or overload other systems, or to break the rules of a site or service you use it on. We may suspend or end a lab or an account that does.
Prices are shown before you pay. Payments are handled by Apple, Stripe or Square; we do not hold your card number. What you buy through Apple follows Apple's terms, including its refunds.
What you and your elves put in your lab is yours. A destroyed lab and what is on it are gone, so keep copies of what matters. Privacy says what we hold and how you delete it.
Elven Labs is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We keep labs running as well as we can and say plainly when we cannot, but we do not promise uptime. To the extent the law allows, Takahashi Corp LLC is not liable for what your elves do, or for indirect or consequential losses.
